Neal Butler became an Industry Advisor to Wynnchurch Capital in 2017 and is based in Atlanta. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director at KMG Chemicals (NYSE: KMG), a Houston-based specialty chemicals company, from 2004 through 2013. While at KMG Chemicals, Neal led the company’s expansion from a North America-centric company to a global organization with facilities in North America, Europe and Asia.
Prior to KMG, Neal served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Naturize Biosciences, a biotechnology company specializing in biological solutions for agriculture, turf and ornamentals. He served as Vice President and Horticulture Team Lead for Zeneca Agro in the United States and Canada, as Global Fungicide and Strategic Planning Lead in Zeneca’s U.K. headquarters in the United Kingdom, and as Vice President and General Manager of the Americas for ISK Biosciences, an Osaka, Japan-based global manufacturer of specialty agricultural and turf chemicals.
Neal received a B.S. in Biology from Auburn University and completed the Senior Executive MBA Program at Columbia University. He has held Board positions at International Fibers Corp., Legislative Oversight Council, Crop Life America, Georgia Agribusiness Council, and Southern Crop Protection Association.
