Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Ontario, California, The Wheel Group (“TWG”) is a designer and distributor of branded aftermarket wheels, specialty tires and related accessories serving the truck, SUV and car markets. TWG sells to over 8,000 active customers including independent installers, national & regional retailers, and e‑commerce and wholesale distribution channels. The Company maintains a nationwide footprint of 20 sales and distribution centers.

The Wheel Group represented an opportunity to acquire a market leader with strong customer relationships and a track record of innovation in the automotive aftermarket.
Wynnchurch is working with management to drive growth by expanding into new geographies while investing in operational initiatives to improve productivity and profitability. Wynnchurch also plans to pursue add-on acquisition opportunities to strengthen TWG’s core and expand into new product categories.
