Rosboro Company, LLC (Rosboro) is a leading manufacturer of engineered wood products used in residential and light commercial construction, including glue laminated timber (glulam) and a variety of lumber products. Founded in 1939 and headquartered in Springfield, OR, Rosboro has developed a unique product offering focused on customer-driven solutions. Rosboro operates out of two manufacturing campuses located in Springfield and Veneta, OR.
Transaction
In December 2016, Wynnchurch Capital partnered with management to acquire Rosboro in a corporate carve-out from the predecessor family-owned business.
Opportunity
Rosboro represented a unique opportunity to acquire a market leader with strong customer relationships and a track record of innovation and growth. We believe Rosboro’s unique manufacturing platform and product offering position the company to capitalize on the continued recovery in residential construction.
Strategy
Wynnchurch is working with Rosboro’s management to execute on a refined commercial strategy to support continued growth and further implement best practices in manufacturing. Wynnchurch also plans to provide additional growth capital to fund both acquisitions and organic growth.
