Joined Wynnchurch in 2016 and is primarily responsible for sourcing direct private debt and equity investments. She also actively manages strategic relationships with the bankruptcy and restructuring M&A community. Alison began her career at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP in the Restructuring Group in New York. Her practice involved representing financially troubled companies in all aspects of corporate restructuring, including chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, and acquisitions. Prior to joining Wynnchurch, Alison was a Director of business development at Garden City Group and Donlin Recano & Company, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives.
Alison has over a decade of restructuring experience across a number of industries, including energy, manufacturing, consumer, technology, media, and entertainment. While at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, Alison was involved in the bankruptcies of Masonite Corporation, Flying J, Solutia, Readers Digest, Norwood Promotional Products, Tropicana Entertainment, and Pierre Foods. Additionally, Alison supported an interdisciplinary team which represented BP p.l.c. in various litigation and regulatory matters pertaining to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Serves on the board of the Turnaround Management Organization (TMA) and International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation and is active in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
