Senior level international executive, entrepreneur, and private equity operating partner with over 30-years of experience of the industrial, metals, contracting, energy and defense sectors.  Strong background in acquisitions, business restructuring, turnaround and post-acquisition integration.  Peter spent 14 years as the Chairman/CEO of PTC Group Holdings (Pittsburgh Tube), a global leader in steel tubing and achieved a ten-fold increase in profitability over that period.  Between 2009 and 2015 he was a member of the Operating Committee of a leading hedge fund with $8 billion of assets under management that makes control debt and equity investments in distressed companies.

Earlier in his career he held positions of increasing responsibility with three oil majors:  British Petroleum, Conoco Philips, and Mobil Oil Company, including a stint as a field engineer in the North Sea.  Mr. Whiting also held a senior operational role during the restructuring of the UK Naval Dockyards.  He has led restructuring projects in the US, UK,   Sweden, Germany, China and Taiwan.  Previously a Director of Arclin Cayman Holdings, FXi (Foamex Innovations), TFL and numerous other businesses.  He served on the Board of the Metals Service Center Institute from 2010 to 2015.  Bachelor of Science (Engineering), Cardiff University (UK).  MBA, Henley Business School (UK).  Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE).  Chartered Engineer (C.Eng).  Mr. Whiting is a citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom.
