Chris Curfman is former President of Caterpillar Global Mining and Senior Vice President of CAT Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. Mr. Curfman’s career with CAT Global Mining and Caterpillar spans over 21 years and includes leadership roles in the Asia-Pacific division and Australia. As President of Global Mining, he led the single largest business unit within the company for over ten years.
Curfman began his career with Wallace Machinery, a CAT dealer in California. He went on to a 15-year career at Deere & Company, starting as a machine sales representative before ultimately becoming the President/General Manager of Equipment Remarketing Services. Curfman holds a B.S. in Education from Northwestern University; Accounting and Finance certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program.
Mr. Curfman currently serves as an Executive Advisor to Black & Veatch Corporation and on the boards of Osisko Gold Royalties, Ltd.
